Vi is the Finance Manager for the Australian National Data Service ("ANDS"), an organisation that is building Australia's research data commons to make better use of Australia's research output. In this role, she manages in excess of $70 million worth of funding and oversees the day to day operations of the ANDS financial systems and processes and provides solid and timely financial advice to the Executive Director and a range of stakeholders within and external to the organisation.
Vi is an accountant with demonstrated and developed problem solving, communication and financial analysis skills with the ability to explain complex issues in easy to understand terms. In the past, she has been involved in providing support to Monash University's faculties and units through the provision of income analysis, financial modelling, monthly forecasting and budget preparation.
Prior to joining the University, she worked at a top tier international insolvency firm in their forensics team where she worked on high profile corporate cases and was involved in preparing expert's reports, loss assessments and complex financial analyses.
During the periods 2004-2008, Vi was a scholar at the University of Melbourne majoring in Philosophy, French with a specialisation in Accounting.
